Patricia Jechel
My name is Patricia Jechel and I am an Attorney at Law at ByteLaw. My focus is on IT and Data Protection Law.
In the realm of E-commerce, I assist platform operators, marketplaces, and online shops in adhering to legal requirements such as information obligations and creating necessary legal texts. Additionally, I support companies in examining and drafting General Terms and Conditions, IT contracts, and data protection-related agreements.
My qualification as a TÜV-certified external data protection officer benefits companies, as I provide guidance to medium-sized enterprises and start-ups on building a data protection concept. I offer advisory services and address data protection-related queries during the development of new projects or the implementation of new programs.
Furthermore, I also offer counsel in the field of Intellectual Property. The development and protection of trademarks as well as the drafting of licensing agreements are central to my practice.
I studied law at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Subsequently, I completed my legal clerkship at the Wiesbaden District Court. Simultaneously, I worked as a research assistant in the field of Industrial Property Rights at Brehm & v. Moers law firm, based in Frankfurt am Main. Afterwards, I worked as an Attorney at Law for several years at an internationally oriented medium-sized law firm in Frankfurt.
